A little bit about me...I am loyal, a quick learner and the attributes that I can bring to this position include a great work ethic, enthusiasm, energetic, well presented, dependable, reliable, honest and highly motivated. I have been employed in a school based apprenticeship at Harristown State High School as a Sign Writer with Shannon Signs. My duties here as an apprentice included designing, producing and installing signs for customers, as well as designing and wrapping vehicles. Unfortunately, my apprenticeship couldn’t be continued due to my employer not gaining enough work and the shortage of work across the industry. Upon graduating from Harristown State High School in 2017, I gained a Painting and Decorating Apprenticeship to which I have completed the first year. This position required me to prep and paint both private and commercial buildings but unfortunately my position here could not continue due to health reasons. Working in both positions have provided me with the skills of meeting deadlines, working independently as well as part of a team, knowledge of workplace health and safety, problem solving skills and communication skills, both verbal and written. I also have the ability to conduct highly physical work, I hold a current white card, a Learner C Class license with 70 hours completed and I have reliable transport to travel to and from work.
