If you supervise building work under your employer’s QBCC licence you must have a Site Supervisor licence. To obtain this licence you must complete the following units of competency:

 

  • CPCCBC6001B  Apply building codes and standards to the construction process for
    large building projects
  • CPCCBC6018A Manage processes for complying with legal obligations of a building or
    construction contractor
  • CPCCBC6014A Apply structural principles to the construction of large, high rise and complex
    buildings
  • CPCCBC6016A Assess construction faults in large building projects

 

Masters in Building Training offers this qualification via RPL for experienced supervisors, or on-line through our state-of-the-art e-learning system. To complete the course, simply upload the required evidence and documentation, provide a reference, and answer the questions on-line using your lap-top or PC web-cam. A qualified trainer will guide you through the process.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible, you must be demonstrate a minimum of 12 months site supervision experience.

Duration:

Allow 20 hours to complete the assessments on-line over a maximum of 3 months

Outcome

Upon successful completion of the RPL skills assessment a Statement of Attainment in partial completion of the relevant qualification will be issued (Advanced Diploma of Building and Construction). This may be used to meet the QBCC technical requirements for a site supervisor licence.
